My web presence has been established from waaaaay back - since 1998 if I am not mistaken, back in the golden years where computers ran on Windows 3.11 and most personal webpages were born out of Expage. My virtual presence (and friendships forged over the years) has since then, become an integral part of my life.
Back then, I subjected myself to the trends of creating webpages comprising bright, sparkly graphics (I was twelve! What did you expect?!?) and all sorts of bullcrap that interest me collected from all over the web. Things took a turn after I discovered blogging in 2001.
Initially, I was apprehensive - but later thought oh, what the heck. After all, it's a great way of meeting other people with similar life experiences and hobbies. I eventually went down the personal route when it comes to content, and never looked back.
